Default Search Field
In Artsystem5 the default setting for Search, in any module, is All Fields for the most efficient and comprehensive record gathering. However, a specific field can be selected here to pre-set the module search parameter for a more targeted starting point.
EXAMPLE: If the user is engaged in a project requiring repeated queries of Contacts by "Institution", the default Contacts module Search In field can be set to Institution.
To return again to the original default setting, set the Default Search Field to the empty option (as shown in the screenshot at the top of the page).
NOTE: The Default Search Field is a local Setting, which will reset to the original default setting when the browser cache or cookies are cleared. See also Settings Overview: Making Changes.
Contact Statistics
Click the radio button to select which statistic option will appear first when clicking on the Financials tab of a Contact record detail. Choose from Work History, Outstanding Works, Payments Received, or Payments Made.
Custom User Fields
The Contacts module Settings includes a grid of 12 fields with labels that can be customized. 6 of these fields are Phone type fields, and 6 are Text type fields. To customize the labels for these fields, double click in the right column for the desired field and edit. The updated label will now appear on the record detail, in the spreadsheet, and on reports.
NOTE: The first 6 Phone fields appear on the New Contact entry form, so they are best used for primary information and email addresses for most efficient data entry.
Email Field
Any of the 12 Custom User Fields above can be selected as the primary email field. The chosen field will be automatically inserted by Artsystem5 when sending emails from the database. To send email to multiple primary email addresses for a single Contact, enter all emails in the designated email field separated by a semi-colen and a space.

Allow UK 8 Line Address
Enable this option to format local UK addresses with up to 8 lines of text in the label.
