Artsystem5 is a web-based application, which runs in a browser on a variety of different platforms including Windows, MacOS, and iOS.

Browser Window - An example of a complete browser application window, with Artsystem5 loaded, is displayed in the screenshot.
A5 Database Name - When logged in to an A5 database domain, the name will display in brackets in the browser tab or window label.
Artsystem5 App Window - The A5 app fills the entire browser viewport, and is responsive to resizing.
Datasets Pane - When loaded, the lists of Worksheets and ViewSets will display in a pane at the left side of the viewport. Close the pane by clicking on the X.
Main Content Window - This area usually occupies the most space within the A5 app. It is the main display area for record information.
Main Navigation Menu - Provides access to the Modules, or main areas of content, within the database. Also included are headings for Home, Help, and Settings panels.
Main Toolbar - Contains the options for taking action with the module data, and includes the following sections; Marking Tools, Dataset Tools, a Module Display area, additional Module Action Menus, and Search.
Search Bar - Clicking the magnifying glass icon on the Main Toolbar opens and closes the Search bar; an additional menu bar displayed below the black toolbar menu.

Main Content Window - The main display area for record information within the database modules.
Record Detail Window - All record editing takes place on the Record Detail form. Double-click on any record in the Main Content Window to open the Detail.
Record Detail Navigation Menu - Displayed at the top of the Record Detail form. When a Detail is open, use the navigation menu to view all the associated areas of content.
Record Preview Pane - The Preview Pane is a quick way to see the most important details for any record. Click once on any record to view the Preview Pane on the right side of screen. Close the pane by clicking on the X.
Preview Pane Action Menu - When a Preview Pane is open, use the Action Menu to initiate presentation views, transactions, reports, and emails efficiently for individual records and groups of records.
